IBM WebSphere Portal 6.1.0 through 6.1.0.6 CF27, 6.1.5 through 6.1.5.3 CF27, 7.0 through 7.0.0.2 CF28, 8.0 through 8.0.0.1 CF14, and 8.5.0 before CF03 does not properly detect recursion during entity expansion, which allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (memory and CPU consumption) via a crafted XML document containing a large number of nested entity references, a similar issue to CVE-2003-1564.Enginsight
