CVE-2024-24750
16.02.2024, 22:15
Undici is an HTTP/1.1 client, written from scratch for Node.js. In affected versions calling `fetch(url)` and not consuming the incoming body ((or consuming it very slowing) will lead to a memory leak. This issue has been addressed in version 6.6.1. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should make sure to always consume the incoming body.Enginsight

Common Weakness Enumeration
- CWE-400 - Uncontrolled Resource ConsumptionThe software does not properly control the allocation and maintenance of a limited resource, thereby enabling an actor to influence the amount of resources consumed, eventually leading to the exhaustion of available resources.
- CWE-401 - Missing Release of Memory after Effective LifetimeThe software does not sufficiently track and release allocated memory after it has been used, which slowly consumes remaining memory.
