EUVD-2026-1216116.03.2026, 14:19
Philips Hue Bridge HomeKit hk_hap_pair_storage_put Heap-based Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Philips Hue Bridge. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the hk_hap_pair_storage_put function of the HomeKit implementation, which listens on TCP port 8080 by default. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a heap-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the device. Was ZDI-CAN-28469.Enginsight
